Mārdava is a Sanskrit word meaning softness, pliancy, gentleness, kindness, leniency towards all beings.
It can also mean compassion or supreme tenderness.
Our aim is to embrace and promote a form of yoga that helps us achieve greater compassion,
to ourselves, to others, to all beings.
Our yoga is for everyone, for every body. We use gentle methods of stretching and breathing,
while encouraging introspection that leads to acceptance, gratitude and love.

Krislyn's Gentle Yoga
My classes are all very gentle and accessible to most yogis. We move slowly and surely. My goal is to send students home feeling confident, relaxed and grateful for what their bodies can do.
Erin's Gentle Yoga
My classes are kind, flowy and accessible to most yogis. We move through many joint release poses that leave students feeling energized, peaceful and confident.
In normal life, we hold a three-day, two-night retreat in the spring,
and a one-day immersion retreat in the fall.
Yoga & Wellness for Women
Our 2-night/3-day retreats are held in beautiful locations and are designed to truly be an escape from everyday life. We endeavor to nourish our attendees physically, emotionally and mentally.
We offer gourmet, plant-based, delicious meals, luxurious accommodations, thoughtful swag packages, learning opportunities, gentle, healing yoga, much needed free-time, and the best company ever.
Our 2-night, 3-day format really allows our guests time to rest and rejuvenate. Each retreat has a different theme that allows us to focus on a new path to healing.
Truly a day of Rest.
We format our one day retreats a little differently. We offer the choice of coming for a full day either on a Friday or a Saturday. This allows those who may not be able to make a full retreat work for them still enjoy a day of rest and learning. We jam-pack these days with gorgeous meals, gentle yoga, guest presenters, learning opportunities and much more. We also choose a theme for these retreats and focus on that theme while we stretch and learn.
What Some Friends Say About Us
I have recently "discovered" yoga and it's benefits. Thanks to a very gentle and encouraging instructor, Krislyn has made being a beginner feel almost effortless. She sets a calm, peaceful environment while we work hard and steady. I have become a believer in yoga and its benefits and I know it's because my first experience has been so positive.
